I am really happy about being nominated for the World Cup in Moscow. I have never been to Moscow nor Russia so this was also a great opportunity to explore a new city and culture.
Together with the German Bouldering Team, we visited the new Bouldering gym in Moscow, which is really cool. The next day we also went for some sightseeing in Moscow and did some yoga afterwards.

When I woke up in the morning of the comp, the biceps of my right arm hurt whenever I would pull. Still, I felt in a good shape and was confident I could climb in the competition.
I was able to climb the first two boulders and felt really confident, even though I wasted some attempts on the second problem. The third boulder looked really promising, but I couldn’t quite finish it. The fourth problem was super hard for me as pulling hard with the right arm was pretty key and I it just hurt too much. Flashing the last boulder, which was a slab, was a good finish for me.
In the end, I lacked one Top from making Semifinals or Top 30, but it was a good experience and I learned a lot from my mistakes.
